Timing varies based on what drip you are receiving and based on the ease of flow of your veins. On average, it takes from 45 minutes to an hour. Some drips may take less and some may take longer. If your body is more sensitive, the drip can be slowed down to allow you to be as comfortable as possible.
Yes, absolutely! After the drip, you will be feeling your best to continue all of your activities, including work.

Additionally, small, delicate needles and a localized numbing agent is used if requested to provide a relatively pain-free experience. Everyone’s pain threshold varies and so it may feel painless to most people, others may feel brief discomfort upon needle insertion. Otherwise, the infusion itself is often very relaxing and enjoyed by most people.

Overall, side effects are minimal or non-existent. Due to the placement of the IV, some discomfort, bruising, redness, itching, or inflammation can last any where from a few minutes to several days. Due to the drip ingredients, you may taste the vitamins or may feel cold, however, snacks and blankets are available to help with these potential side effects. True allergic reactions are extremely rare, however, if you experience throat swelling, pruritc body rash, dangerously low blood pressure, or symptoms associated with anaphylaxis following administration of an injection, visit your nearest emergency department. If you know you are allergic to any of the ingredients—please avoid it.
