Power of Cruciferous Vegetables for Improving Glutathione….That Even the 41st U.S. President Couldn't Really Deny the Power
MY SECRET IS OUT! Just a brief refresher….. (You can go to the hilighted links to get a greater refresher):
Glutathione is my “Secret Weapon of Mass Destruction.” Unfortunately, though, “Glutathione Robbery” occurs all the time, so before your symptoms tempt you to supplement or take IV Glutathione, you should first test your status to see if it is really necessary.
Purchase the Gastrointestinal Stool Profile
To preserve or replenish your glutathione stores, “Let Me Show You the Whey,” introduces you to the PRECURSORS of Glutathione,” that are easily incorporated into your lifestyle.
I now want to introduce you to another POWERFUL PRECURSOR of Glutathione……
CRUCIFEROUS VEGETABLES!
Yes, your mom was right about eating broccoli, but if you are like President George H.W. Bush, who is seen here explaining his right to no longer eat broccoli, you are in luck….there are other options!
Cruciferous vegetables are rich in sulfur, which is the powerful chemical group that makes glutathione so amazing. Sulfur is a sticky, smelly molecule that acts like fly paper, causing the bad things in our body to stick to it. This includes nasty free radicals and toxins like mercury and other heavy metals that we get exposed to on a daily basis. Without adequate cruciferous vegetables, glutathione concentrations take a nose dive, and we become more of a target for disease.
The good news is we have an arsenal of cruciferous vegetables to choose from, and you DON’T have to eat broccoli, if you choose not to, like President Bush 41.
However, just as President Bush 41 knew not to invest in only one area of our U.S. Armed Forces when he served as U.S. 41st President, but to invest in all branches, he was smart enough to know to invest in the following arsenal of POWER when eating his vegetables:
Arugula
Bok Choy
Broccoli
Brussel Sprouts
Cabbage
Cauliflower
Collard Greens
Kale
Mustard Greens
Radish
Turnip
Watercress
How do I know this? Well, look what he did. He got the POWER to jump out of aircrafts from somewhere, even at the age of 80, 85, and 90 in his last jump. I bet he had a well-rounded arsenal of cruciferous vegetables and glutathione working for him, at the time. RIP 41! We miss you!
Of course, you ALWAYS want to try to get your nutrients from real organic vegetables, but if you are having difficulty doing this, there are supplements that can help bridge the gap. These will never be as powerful as what “clean” mother nature provides, but they sure are better than eliminating completely the power of sulfur, and thus the benefits of glutathione!
